Morning Program

10am – Open and welcome. Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson.

10.10am – ‘COVID-19 Vaccinations and Stroke’. Professor John Worthington, Director of Stroke Services, Sydney Local Health District.

11.15am – ‘Understanding the mental health outcomes of Stroke survivors with Aphasia’. Isabella Kristo, Social Worker, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

12.30pm – Lunch break

Afternoon Program1.10pm – Vision Issues after Stroke’. Jeffrey Landers, Low Vision Consultant, Quantum Reading Learning Vision.

1.50pm – Current Aphasia Therapies’ . Virginia Agosti, Neurological Rehabilitation Care Coordinator, Metro Rehab and Vanessa Arratia, Senior Speech Pathologist, Royal Rehab.
