Join the Online Gardening Stroke support group!
We are pleased to invite you to our monthly meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of each month online. This group is a wonderful opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to connect and share their knowledge and experiences with like-minded individuals.
The Online Gardening group is co-facilitated by Bill from the Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai Stroke Recovery Club. Bill is a passionate gardener and Stroke survivor who enjoys running a group where members can share their gardening ideas and missteps!
Each month, the group focuses on a different gardening-related topic. We discuss everything from the best plants for specific environments, to gardening tools and techniques, to managing pests and diseases.
We understand that gardening can be a therapeutic and enjoyable activity for Stroke survivors, and we are committed to creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all of our members. Our group is open to all Stroke survivors from NSW who are interested in gardening and would like to connect with others who share their passion (even those who have a not so green thumb)!
