August 18 @ 2:00 pm 3:30 pm AEST

Topical Thursday is one of the Association’s regular monthly online Stroke support groups that provides guest speakers to Stroke survivors, carers and their families on important topics.

August Online Guest Speakers – Bruno Muraca, Director and CEO of AFRM Claims Advocacy (ACA) and Janette Daniel, Stroke survivor and member of Great Lakes & Manning Stroke Club.

Our next Topical Thursday online group is with Bruno Muraca and Janette Daniel, who will be presenting the topic ‘Has Stroke impacted your capacity to work? Hear from a Stroke survivor about how they explored their personal insurance to access financial support.’

The intent of personal insurance is to protect individuals financially if something unexpected happens (injury or illness), such as a Stroke. Yet less than 30% of working Australians even know they have personal insurance and how it works.
