DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the online Stroke Choir! We are excited to offer this wonderful program to all Stroke survivors in NSW. Held weekly during the school term\, the Stroke Choir is a fun and engaging way to improve your speech through singing. \n\n\n\nLed by the experienced Music Therapists from Tuned In Music Therapy\, this hour-long session is a perfect way to relax and connect with others. The therapeutic benefits of music are well-known\, and singing has been shown to improve speech\, communication skills\, respiratory function\, promote relaxation\, and enhance cognitive. So\, whether you are a seasoned singer or just starting out\, the Stroke Choir is a fantastic way to improve your physical and emotional well-being. \n\n\n\nThe online Stroke Choir is open to all Stroke survivors in NSW\, and no prior singing experience is necessary. All you need is a computer or mobile device with an internet connection\, and you’re ready to go!
