Andrew Scott – Chief Executive Officer
We’re delighted to welcome Andrew Scott as our new Chief Executive Officer!
Andrew brings extensive experience leading organisations that create meaningful, lasting change across health and community services. Most recently, he spent over 16 years with Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, where he held senior leadership roles and led innovation to enhance programs and support communities across Australia.
He is also the founder and CEO of Carevan Blacktown, a volunteer-driven organisation supporting thousands of people each year with meals, clothing and practical care.

Lani Cutuli – Community Liaison Officer
Lani joined the Association in 2022 as the Community Liaison Officer. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science and is studying for a Masters of Public International Diplomacy at Macquarie University. Prior to joining the Stroke Recovery Association, she worked primarily in the fields of community development and advocacy.

Stephanie Ho – Community Engagement Director
Having experienced a Stroke at a young age, Stephanie has channelled her lived experience into 15+ years of passionate advocacy for the Stroke community. She has led community development initiatives and raised public awareness, including speaking at national conferences and representing consumer voices across NSW health networks.

Georgie Paspalas – Information and Communications Officer
Georgie is currently studying a Diploma in Business and Marketing and brings creativity, enthusiasm and a passion for community-focused work. With experience supporting newsletters, digital communications and events, Georgie is passionate about creating engaging content that connects Stroke survivors, carers and health professionals with the information and support they need.

Alex Wells – Information and Administrative Officer
Alex joined the Stroke Recovery Association in the role of Administrative Assistant in 2023. Prior to this role Alex worked in membership, administration and events in the community clubs sector.

Alex Choy – Financial Manager
We’re pleased to welcome Alex Choy as our new Finance Manager at Stroke Recovery Association
Alex has worked in the accounting profession for over twenty years. The early part of his journey was mainly working in smaller and medium-sized chartered accounting firms in New Zealand. On weekends, Alex might take the family out to kick a soccer ball, hike the local walking tracks, visit a new playground, or attend the Sunday service at the local church.
