Hunter Stroke Olympics

Get ready to join the ultimate fun-filled event of the year, the Hunter Stroke Olympics 2025! The Hunter Stroke Olympics is an accessible games day for both Stroke Survivors and Carers. Games are suited to all abilities! Whether you use a wheelchair, have aphasia or have low vision, we’ve got you covered. It’s not just any competition, it’s a day of camaraderie, laughter, and making new friends.

Games for Stroke survivors include:

  • Putting
  • Ball-In-A-Box
  • Quoits
  • Dominoes
  • Concentration – card memory game
  • Bean Bag Toss
  • Carpet Bowls
  • Euchre
  • Cup Pong

Games for carers include:

  • Putting for carers
  • Cup pong

There are gold, bronze and silver medals up for grabs from each event as well as the overall awards of Club Champions and Battler of the Year who will take home perpetual trophies. Please note that paid carers are not eligible to win any awards, however they are welcome to participate.
