2 September, 2024 @ 2:00 pm 3:00 pm AEST

Welcome to the online Stroke Choir! We are excited to offer this wonderful program to all Stroke survivors in NSW. Held weekly during the school term, the Stroke Choir is a fun and engaging way to improve your speech through singing.

Led by the experienced Music Therapists from Tuned In Music Therapy, this hour-long session is a perfect way to relax and connect with others. The therapeutic benefits of music are well-known, and singing has been shown to improve speech, communication skills, respiratory function, promote relaxation, and enhance cognitive. So, whether you are a seasoned singer or just starting out, the Stroke Choir is a fantastic way to improve your physical and emotional well-being.

The online Stroke Choir is open to all Stroke survivors in NSW, and no prior singing experience is necessary. All you need is a computer or mobile device with an internet connection, and you’re ready to go! You can attend from the comfort of your own home, so there’s no need to worry about transport or accessibility.
