INTERACT4 Expansion – Focus Group for GFAP INTEnsive ambulance-delivered blood pressure Reduction in biomarker-identified hyper-ACute intracerebral haemorrhage Trial
What is it?
This study aims to understand the views of Stroke survivors, carers, and the community about a new blood test called GFAP. This test can be performed using a small device and may help paramedics quickly determine if a stroke is caused by bleeding in the brain while in the ambulance.
What involvement is required?
- Attend a focus group discussion
- Share your views on a new blood test.
- $50 cash compensation
Eligibility requirements:
- Adults 18 years or older
- Have lived experienced of stroke OR are family or carer of people with lived experience of Stroke OR are a community member interested in Stroke care.
- Able to provide consent
