The Forestville Stroke Recovery Group is one of the original Stroke Recovery Clubs at the Association and has been meeting for over 40 years. They are a very social and friendly Club who will welcome all new members into their group with enthusiasm.

A speech pathologist attends these meetings each time and organises speech and language activities, which include word finding activities, crosswords, hangman and many other games.

The group is very social and also enjoys playing dominoes at each of their meetings. Every few months, the members go on outings together as well.

The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month between 10.00am and 12.00pm

The group enjoys going to the movies at Warriewood and often will have a BBQ as their outing.

For more information, contact the Association on 1300 650 594 or info@strokensw.org.au.

The Forestville Stroke Recovery Club would like to acknowledge the Kuringgai people of the Eora Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land that they meet on. We pay our respect to Elders both past, present and emerging.
