AUSTRALIAN APHASIA ASSOCIATION
The Australian Aphasia Association is the national peak body and advocacy organisation for people living with aphasia in Australia. AAA is a not-for-profit and has provided information, resources, support and advocacy for people with aphasia, their families, carers and health professionals since 2002.

SPEAKER: INGRID FAIRLIE
Ingrid specialises in regulatory implementation, quality and safety systems, and compliance across aged care and disability services. With more than 30 years of leadership and consulting experience, she supports governance, reform, audit readiness, risk management, and service improvement. As an independent practitioner, Ingrid advises providers on regulatory requirements, governance, and quality systems. She previously helped establish the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and contributed to the development of the former Aged Care Quality Standards. Through the International Society for Quality in Health Care, she has presented internationally and served as a peer surveyor since 2016.
THE GEORGE INSTITUTE RESEARCH PROJECT
The George Institute is looking to work more closely with health consumers who have a lived experience of stroke, dementia, or any neurological conditions.
